Three lessons I learned from fitness
1. It is all about consistency, not perfect. Do you have clean and healthy teeth the first day you start brushing? Or week? Or month? No, none of those, you get clean and healthy by being consistent, brushing twice a day (and flossing 😉) day and day out. When it comes to your body it is no different, consistency will win every time, develop the habit and enjoy the journey.
2. Be proud of yourself, every workout completed, every rep done can’t be taken away from you. You did that and you made time to take care of your body and mind it just happens that you are getting strong and fit while at it! Like many say, you will never regret a workout done.
3. ”Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” -John Rohn
Make it a habit by being consistent and proud of what you achieve it doesn’t matter how small your achievements are, that will turn into your new lifestyle and that will lead you to a healthier and happier life. A long life of being proud and healthy is a lot more worth then short term weight loss.
